HI! I felt inspired to start this blog because Ive realized how unhealthy Americans are compared to Europeans and I would like to help make a change for our country. American’s eat too many unhealthy and fattening foods that cause us to look like a lazy country. So this is my part of spreading my knowledge about nutrition to hopefully hit some peoples realization points on how they can improve their lives. Throughout my post’s on this blog, I will go through bad eating habits, how to break those habits, and what proportions one should be eating on a daily basis to reach peak healthiness.
So, before I start bossing everybody who reads this around on how to get healthier, here’s some things about myself. I am a freshman at the University of Tampa and am in the Navy ROTC program and intend to joint the United States Navy after college. I played soccer, lacrosse, and ran track all throughout high school so nutrition and staying in shape was very important for me. I am interested in making a change for other college students who may be experiencing the “freshman 15”. I always thought it was a joke but it is definitely not. Some people have completely let themselves go. So I am here to try and reduce that number.
I decided for my blog title to be “Kevin’s Food Advice” because it’s simple and gets the point across. Im simply writing about nutrition facts and what people can do to be healthier. I’m not forcing you to read this, just know that you’ll gain a good amount out of this blog if you decide to keep coming back.
